🎓🏅 ASSA Successfully Organized the Youth Congress in Sport and Recreational Activities (YCSRA 2022)

On 10 June 2022, the Albanian Sport Science Association (ASSA) successfully organized the Youth Congress in Sport and Recreational Activities (YCSRA 2022) in Tirana, Albania.

YCSRA was established to provide a scientific platform where young researchers, students, and future professionals could present their research, exchange ideas, and receive valuable feedback from academics, experts, and peers. Through poster presentations, interactive discussions, and scientific dialogue, the congress encouraged evidence-based approaches to promoting sport, physical activity, recreation, and healthy lifestyles.

The congress brought together young participants aged 18–25 from Albania and the region, creating an inspiring environment for innovation, collaboration, and professional development. Organized as a bilingual event (Albanian and English), YCSRA strengthened scientific communication while fostering regional cooperation among emerging researchers.

The main objective of the congress was to raise awareness, expand knowledge, and build the capacities of young people to promote active and healthy lifestyles through sport and recreational activities. By encouraging youth-led research and scientific innovation, ASSA reaffirmed its commitment to empowering the next generation of sport scientists, educators, and health professionals.

The successful implementation of YCSRA 2022 marked the beginning of a growing scientific tradition that has continued through subsequent editions, contributing to the development of youth research, academic excellence, and international collaboration in sport sciences.
