Active Youth Ambassadors – In Love with Nature

The Albanian Sport Science Association (ASSA) successfully implemented the “Active Youth Ambassadors – In Love with Nature” project as part of the Tirana European Youth Capital 2022 programme.

The project aimed to empower young people by strengthening their leadership skills and encouraging them to take an active role in planning and organizing sport and physical activity initiatives within their communities. Through outdoor activities, non-formal education, and community engagement, participants promoted healthy lifestyles, environmental awareness, teamwork, and active citizenship.

This initiative provided young people with the opportunity to become ambassadors of positive change, demonstrating how sport and nature can contribute to more active, inclusive, and sustainable communities.

The project was implemented by the Albanian Sport Science Association (ASSA) with the financial support of the National Youth Congress, in cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana, within the framework of Tirana European Youth Capital 2022.
